The New Zealand Secondary Schools (NZSS) Netball Champs is one of the most hotly contested annual tournaments on the Netball New Zealand calendar. The event provides an opportunity for the best secondary school teams from the Upper North Island, Lower North Island and South Island to go head-to-head in a battle for the trophy.

The NNZ U19 Champs was held in Tauranga at ASB Baypark Stadium from 9th-12th July 2018.

The 2018 Beko Netball League final was held at Pulman Arena in Auckland on Sunday 29th July between Central and Waikato-BOP.

One of the first steps for our umpires in going to tournaments is the North Island U15 Championship held at Taranaki Netball Centre at the beginning of July each year.

The Netball NZ U17 Champs is Netball New Zealand’s largest event. This year 42 Netball Centres competed in this four-day, outdoor tournament - the only domestic event held outdoors.

The NNZ Zone Theory Exam is the next step for umpires who hold a Centre Umpire Award and are looking to attain their Zone Umpire Award.

The Super12 competition (previously known as Super14) is made up of the top two or three senior premier club teams from five netball centres/regions within the upper North Island.

On Saturday 3rd March there was a pre-season match held at ASB Stadium in Whangarei between SkyCity Mystics and The Stars.
