Netball Northern Zone
Netball Northern Zone is looking for a talented Communications & Marketing Lead to bring our stories to life, grow our presence, and support community and performance netball across Auckland and Northland.
Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating with our Community and Performance teams, this role drives the Zone’s storytelling, digital engagement and marketing activity, ensuring our Centres, clubs, schools and local communities stay connected and engaged.

What you’ll be doing:
- Creating engaging stories, video, and digital content
- Managing social media channels for Netball Northern Zone and associated teams
- Producing newsletters and community communications
- Designing marketing materials for events, programmes and campaigns
- Keeping our website and databases up to date
- Assisting with events and occasional game‑day or after‑hours content capture
- Providing communications support to Northern Mystics marketing when needed
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in communications and/or marketing
- Skill and confidence with digital tools - videography, photography, editing, and design (Canva/Adobe)
- Excellent writing skills across newsletters, email, social media and reports
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects
- Relationship‑building finesse - able to work with Centres, volunteers, partners and staff
- A proactive and solutions‑focused approach
- A passion for sport
