As the Netball World Youth Cup 2025 approaches, the under-21 teams from Samoa, the Cook Islands, and Fiji are preparing for the prestigious tournament in Gibraltar. Several players from New Zealand's Northern Zone have been selected to represent their respective nations, highlighting the region’s strong netball talent.
The Cook Islands U21 netball team has announced its final 12-player squad for the NWYC, which includes Sierra Lau’ese from Auckland, New Zealand. Her inclusion demonstrates the strong connection between the Northern Zone and the Cook Islands netball community.
The Samoa U21 netball team has also named its 15-player squad for the NWYC, which includes Northern Zone athletes: Maria Tatupu, Mia Swann, Madison Sanele, Lata Holi, and Jenaya Lata.
